Oak Ridge Relays 2010

When: Saturday, April 10 starting at NOON

Where: Oak Ridge High School “Ben Martin” Track

Entry fee:

  • $50.00 per team (Girls and Boys are separate teams)
  • Teams of less than 5 pay $10.00 per athlete
  • Checks to: Oak Ridge Track Boosters
  • Awards:

  • Scoring 8 places
  • Girls Team Champion
  • Boys Team Champion
  • GRAND CHAMPION (Girls + Boys + CoEd Relays)
  • Events:

  • Field Event areas will close at 11:45 AM for the NOON starting time
  • The NOON Track Events will start on time
  • The Track Events scheduled at 2:00 PM will start at 2:00 PM and not before
  • Track event participants must report on FIRST CALL !!!
  • * Two athletes per school in these Track and Field events
  • Field Events: All are contested
  • Running events are Sections vs Time
  • Track Events: 100 meter and 1600 meter are the only individual races
  • Relays: All are four (4) person teams
  • JV Relay teams (non-scoring)
  • JV Relays only in 4x1600, 4x800 and DMR
  • CoEd Relays events count ONLY for Grand Championship
  • Entries:   Entries due by email using the online entry form TUESDAY, April 6 at MIDNIGHT

    On line entry information:

    Attached is an Example of the ORHS ORRelays 2010 entry form.

    Attached also is the Empty Entry Forms (sample at the top of each section. Instructions, Individual Events and
    Relay Entries tabs are at the bottom.)

    Gray cells (no data required).

    Relay entries do not require individual athlete names (time only).

    Distance relays (4x1600, 4x800, and DMR) allow JV teams.

  • Only the “A” team will score.
  • JV teams will be timed, but not scored.
  • The entry form has room to enter A, B and C JV teams.
  • The entry form shows the order of Relay events. Please refer to the Time Schedule when entering athletes.

    Individual Events (All Field and 100 and 1600) are on a separate page with name and time or distance required.

    Teams may enter (2) entries in the 100 meters, 1600 meters and all Field Events.

    The form has 2 tabs at the bottom for entry (Individual and Relay). Select the tab at the bottom to move from
    Individual to Relay page. * Girls (F) and Boys (M) are on the same page.

    !!!IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!!!

    Events should be entered as shown in these example.

  • Shot Put: 44-10 1/2 would be 441005 as in 44 ft 10.50 inches (* PLEASE ENTER six digits or ND or NH *)
  • 100 meter dash: 11.00 would be 11.00 or NT
  • 4x1600 meter relay: 24:10.50 would be 24:10.50 or NT
  • Please e-mail your entry as an attachment directly to: Bill Palmer and copy (CC) to Eddie Anderson by the
    entry deadline, Wednesday, April 8, at 10 AM.

    Changes are allowed, but should be done in a timely manner prior to the start of the meet. Please attempt
    to enter a “correct” entry.

    This meet will be scored by Hy-Tek.
